As of the end of October 2020, the project was extended for a 6 month period. We will now add practical tools for increasing the preparedness of Serbian Emergency Services to operate a modern 112 system (112 simulator) and for better monitoring of the future implementation of the Serbian 112 (112 compliance). We will also prepare the future Serbian 112 to use Artificial Intelligence and to exchange information with other systems. Due to this scope extension, the end date of the project is now July 8th, 2021 and the budget was increased to 1,460.250 EURO. The project will provide significant support to the efforts of the Republic of Serbia on accession negotiation Chapters 23 and 24, as well as for civil protection in the Chapter 27.
